The Old Ballgame
To quote Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane, “How can you not be romantic about baseball?” From towering homeruns and diving catches, to pitcher’s duels and walk off hits, baseball is truly America’s favorite pastime. This summer is the perfect time to enjoy a game at AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. After a quick 30 minute drive from the LiA Hotel, you will be welcomed to park with a beautiful view of McCovey Cove from Willie Mays Plaza. In May alone, the Giants have home games against the Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Washington Nationals, and division rival Los Angeles Dodgers. Fan favorite Madison Bumgarner may be injured for the foreseeable future, but the Giants still have superstars like Hunter Pence, Buster Posey, Angel Pagan, and Johnny Cueto. Mark May 27 and 28 on your calendar because those days feature some awesome giveaways, a Giants car flag and a Giants cap.
