Dead & Company at Shoreline Amphitheatre
The Grateful Dead formed in 1965, and for the next 30 years, they were one of the most popular musical acts in the entire country. Since the untimely death of Jerry Garcia in 1995, the band has continued touring in various iterations. This summer, Dead & Company, comprised of the surviving members of The Grateful Dead, John Mayer, and other guest musicians, will be performing class Dead songs like “Scarlet Begonias,” “Truckin,’” “The Golden Race,” and “Dark Star” as well as all of your favorite deep cuts from the band’s long and illustrious history. Dead & Company will be performing at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, located only about 20 minutes from the LiA Hotel, on May 31 and June 1. John Mayer, who is famous for songs like “Daughters,” “Waiting on the World to Change,” and “No Such Thing,” brings new energy and interpretations to all of your favorite Grateful Dead songs in a musical experience that is unlike any other in the world.
