Jazz Up Your Summer

There is just something about summer that makes everyone want to listen to beautiful music and dance the night away. When you add in a historic venue, you get an experience that simply can not be matched at any other point of the year. This summer marks the 29th year of the annual Summer Jazz Concerts at Filiol. The aforementioned historic venue is located just 20 minutes away from the LiA Hotel, and the smooth jazz being offered by a wide variety of artists is definitely worth the drive! Speaking of the artists, Sara Niemietz & W.G. Snuffy Walden will be performing July 14, Larry Vuckovich and his Contemporary Swinging Hard Bop Ensemble will be performing July 21, Nicolas Bearde will play on August 11, and The John Santos Sextet will end the series on August 25. No matter which night or nights you are able to attend, you will be delighted to hear incredible music performed by some of the most talented jazz musicians.
